The safe, strong, simple and stable Athena Rig allows you to set-up any aerial apparatus, almost anywhere. It can be set-up outside and inside when venues don’t have an appropriate rigging point and is ideal for shows and performances. Perfect for many uses: Aerial Silks, Lyra, Hammock and Trapeze.
Our 6.6m high rigs are height adjustable. Weighing 125kgs they are are easily transported by car and can be set up and assembled with three people (2 to lift and one to place legs) within 15 minutes. High quality certified welding and a solid steel construction make this the most stable Aerial Rig available anywhere!
When the rig is at its highest height (6.6m), it has a footprint of 5.4m x 5.4m. The height can be adjusted in 1.8m increments by removing legs.
With the optional Pulley System your apparatus can be changed while the rig is standing, this allows you leave the Rig standing without leaving your Aerial equipment exposed to the elements when they are not in use. The Pulley System also adds a layer of safety as its possible to lower a user safely while they are on the Rig.
The Athena Rig comes standard with grey primer. If you would like a high quality Powder Coating colour applied please select the option and we will contact you after purchase to discuss colours. We use the Dulux range of colours.
Our Rigging Kits contain heavy-duty industrial and climbing rated, EN Certified or Load Tested rigging hardware.
The Pulley System for the Athena Rig includes:

** We can do 'old school Laybuy" on the Athena Rig!
These 6.6m Aerial Rigs have a WLL (Working Load Limit) of 120kg and a minimum breaking load of 1200kg.
*The Athena Aerial Rig is not suitable for Swinging Trapeze, it is designed for vertical loading only.
Always use a crash mat when practicing Aerials!
