We Hand Dye the fabric ourselves, these are not ‘third-party’ industrial tie dye or printed patterns that resemble tie dye.
Each item is hand made if you would like a different length or custom dye please contact us.
Your Aerial Silks will come with a beautiful transport bag and instructions on how to care for your fabric.
What length do I need?
Please choose the total length of the fabric - 2x the height from ground to rigging point.
How to calculate length: Measure the height from the ground to your rigging point, double this length, then add 2m additional fabric for the tail (the extra fabric that drapes on the floor).
Example: If your rigging point is 4m high you will need 8m of fabric and 2m for the ‘tail’ making 10m in total.
Our Rigging Kits contain heavy-duty industrial and climbing rated, EN Certified or Load Tested rigging hardware.
The Swivel Connect Kit includes:
- 1x Figure 8
- 1x Swivel
- 2x Steel Carabiners
The Basic Connect Kit includes:
- 1 x Figure 8
- 1 x Steel Carabiner
This is a complete Hand Dyed Aerial setup - ready to hang and start performing. For your convenience all Silks with rigging will come with the rigging hardware pre-installed!
More about the Fabric:
Our professional grade low stretch 40 Denier Nylon Tricot stretches mostly across the width, however, you will feel some give at the end of a long drop. When you climb it will not stretch significantly but it will give way gently. The material is 275cm wide, is machine washable and you can strip/cut the fabric safely without the need for searing if you need a narrower width.
This Aerial Silks fabric has a WLL (Working Load Limit) of 300kg and a MBS (Maximum Breaking Strain) across two strands of 3000kg.
Pictures of our Hand Dyed products are a guide only. Due to each item being custom made each product will be slightly different and may not appear exactly the same as the product image in colour or patterning.
We have 100% confidence that you will love our Aerial Equipment. All our equipment has been selected for safety and performance.
